Veterinary Social Work

Education, Supervision, and Consultation

What is Veterinary Social Work?

Veterinary social work is attending to human needs at the intersection of veterinary and social work practice.

What We Do

Education and Learning

We provide in-person and virtual learning opportunities about the human-animal bond and how it relates to the mental health professional world. Other educational topics are crafted based on your needs and interests, including but not limited to, “The Link” between animal abuse and interpersonal violence, emotional resilience and compassion fatigue, pet loss and grief, and animal-assisted interventions.  Check out our continuing education link below to access NASW Ohio approved CEU’s on veterinary social work topics.  We love providing education and support not only to other mental health professionals but have also tailored the education to address veterinary staff and student audiences.
